Olympic Swimming Trials in the 200 meter backstroke November 15 at the <abbr title=\"Southern Methodist University\">SMU<\/abbr> Invitational Long Course Time Trials, swimming a 2:01.31.<\/p>\n<p>Gallagher came in .38 seconds under the Olympic standard of 2:01.69, and will have a chance to swim for a spot in the 2024 Olympic Games at the <abbr>U.S<\/abbr>. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis next summer.<\/p>\n<p>Kathryn Ivanov swam a 1:10.12 in the women&#8217;s 100 meter breaststroke to come in well below the Canadian Olympic trial standard of 1:13.10.
