It\u2019s the most wonderful time of the year—time for UH<\/abbr>-mazing holiday recipes from our University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> ʻohana<\/span>!<\/p>\n

We enjoyed some delicious submissions in 2022<\/a>, including Chef Alan Tsuchiyama\u2019s Grandma Yama\u2019s New Year\u2019s Day ozoni<\/a>, Piʻikea<\/span> Hardy-Kahaleoumi\u2019s hot crab sweet potato salad<\/a> and Joshua Kealanahele\u2019s shortbread cookies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Check out holiday recipes from previous years<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> News invites members of our UH<\/abbr> ʻohana<\/span> to share a recipe and short write up for the holiday season (to include Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Years and any seasonal event our families celebrate). These will run in UH<\/abbr> News November\u2013December.<\/p>\n

Each submission should include:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Recipe<\/li>\n
  2. A short explanation of why it is special or significant to you, or why your family serves the dish during which holiday (one or two paragraphs)<\/li>\n
  3. Photos of the prepared dish and the UH<\/abbr> person who is submitting the recipe<\/li>\n
  4. Contact information, name, title, campus, email and phone number for the person who is submitting the recipe<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
