Grewal<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> has identified three finalists for the position of dean of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.ctahr.hawaii.edu\/\">College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources<\/a> (<abbr>CTAHR<\/abbr>) and director for research and cooperative extension. The finalists are each scheduled for in-person visits over a three-day period that includes meetings with faculty, staff, students, senior administrators and constituents, and a public presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Campus and community members, as well as the general public, are encouraged to attend the public presentations. Information on time, room location and zoom link will be posted here no later than the start of the first visit.<\/p>\n<p>The campus visits for the three candidates have been scheduled as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Noelle E. I want to express my appreciation to them for their time, hard work and commitment to the search process. We look forward to meeting the candidates as we work towards identifying the next dean of a college integral to solutions to current and future challenges in food systems, food security, natural resources management, community resiliency and human well-being across the Pacific-Asia region,&rdquo; said <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Provost Michael Bruno. &ldquo;As always, we encourage <abbr>UH<\/abbr> faculty, staff, students and the public to come out and meet the candidates, and we look forward to receiving their feedback.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Following the visits and review of the feedback from the search advisory committee and others, Bruno will make a recommendation on this appointment to <abbr>UH<\/abbr> President David Lassner.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the search process, including a list of the members of the search advisory committee, candidate biographies and curriculum vitae, and daily schedules, see the <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/executivesearch\/ctahr\/\">search website<\/a>. Feedback on the candidates from <abbr>UH<\/abbr> and community members are valued; a feedback link will be posted on October 24 and close on November 23, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><abbr>CTAHR<\/abbr> was established in 1907 and is the founding college of <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa. The college\u2019s academic programs include tropical agriculture, food science, human nutrition, textiles and clothing and human resources.
