Recently launched programs, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/research.hawaii.edu\/patents2products\/\">Patents2Products<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/research.hawaii.edu\/facultyfellows\/\">Faculty Fellows<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/research.hawaii.edu\/\"><abbr>UH<\/abbr> Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation<\/a>, seek to foster an innovation ecosystem at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa. Such programs provide training to translate cutting-edge research into commercial technologies so that students and faculty can take their ideas from lab to market.
