The Pelicans officially announced its roster July 3 with the 6-foot-10-inch stretch forward earning one of 13 spots on their summer roster.<\/p>\n<p>Hepa completed his two-year career with the <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\">Rainbow Warriors<\/a> this past spring after transferring from the University of Texas. The native of Utqiagvik, Alaska started all 60 games he appeared in at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> and was a team captain both seasons. In his final collegiate season in 2022&#8211;23, he averaged 11.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and buried 67 3-pointers on 39&#37; shooting, en route to earning all-Big West honorable mention.<\/p>\n<p>Before being picked up by New Orleans, Hepa did individual pre-draft workouts with the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors.<\/p>\n<p>All 76 games of the 11-day competition will air live on <abbr>ESPN<\/abbr> television networks (<abbr>ESPN<\/abbr>, <abbr>ESPN2<\/abbr>, <abbr>ESPNU<\/abbr> and <abbr>ESPNews<\/abbr>) or <abbr>NBA<\/abbr> <abbr>TV<\/abbr>.
