All University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> staff, faculty, and administrators are welcome to submit a proposal to present at this year\u2019s Summer Camp. The <a href=\"https:\/\/sumrcamp.wixsite.com\/kapiolanisummercamp\">public registration<\/a> to attend the event will be available in mid-July.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We\u2019re hoping to make an even bigger splash this year with some summer professional development and personal growth for everyone,&rdquo; said <span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> Summer Camp Coordinator and instructional designer <strong>Jamie Sickel<\/strong>. &ldquo;Individuals are welcome to share pedagogical strategies, technology tools, cultural practices, health and wellness, or any other topics they feel would be relevant to our colleagues in education.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> staff, faculty and administrators are invited to present in one or more of the 2023 Summer Camp session formats.<\/li>\n<li>Open Swim: A 30-minute virtual presentation (lightning speed and informative)<\/li>\n<li>Group Excursion: A 70-minute virtual session (in-depth and interactive)<\/li>\n<li>Activity Hour: A 40-minute virtual health and wellness focus (get us moving or meditating!)<\/li>\n<li>Friday Field Day: In-person sessions (e.g. lei-making, yoga, painting, etc.) and socializing at Kapua (Kaimana Beach Park)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfgoU7Xob402S5RXZ65IZAEON2tcirDscEb2yfuwAlw37YE-w\/viewform\">Submit a proposal<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The deadline to <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfgoU7Xob402S5RXZ65IZAEON2tcirDscEb2yfuwAlw37YE-w\/viewform\">apply<\/a> is May 1, 2023 by 11:59 p.m., <abbr>HST<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n<p>Presenters have the option to propose multiple sessions and must submit each session proposal individually.
