Eight University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa basketball players earned academic All-Big West awards for the 2022–23 season. The student-athletes recognized are Olivia Davies<\/strong>, McKenna Haire<\/strong>, Meilani McBee<\/strong>, Kallin Spiller<\/strong> and Lily Wahinekapu<\/strong> from the women\u2019s basketball<\/a> team, and Bernardo da Silva<\/strong>, Kamaka Hepa<\/strong> and Beon Riley<\/strong> from the men\u2019s basketball<\/a> team.<\/p>\n

This is the second time that da Silva, McBee and Riley made the all-academic team, while it marks the third straight year for Davies. Haire, Hepa, Spiller and Wahinekapu are all first-time honorees.<\/p>\n

To be eligible for the all-academic team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA<\/abbr>, complete one full academic year at the member institution prior to the season for which the award is being received and have competed in at least 50% of their team’s contests.<\/p>\n
