Applications and nominations are being accepted. For best consideration, applicants should submit their application materials by June 23, 2023. The committee will review all applications, determine which candidates should be interviewed and present Provost Bruno a short list of finalists. Provost Bruno will then recommend a selectee to <abbr>UH<\/abbr> President David Lassner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Editor&#8217;s note:<\/strong> Nancy Ooki was added to the search advisory committee on March 22.<\/p>\n<p>The University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa Office of the Provost has formally initiated the search for the <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.ctahr.hawaii.edu\/\">College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources<\/a> (<abbr>CTAHR<\/abbr>) Dean and Director of Research and Cooperative Extension. In doing so, a Search Advisory Committee under Provost <strong>Michael Bruno<\/strong> has been established to begin the search process.<\/p>\n<p>As the founding college of <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> in 1907, <abbr>CTAHR<\/abbr> is central to the land-grant mission of <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa. <abbr>CTAHR<\/abbr> provides relevant research, outreach\/extension and educational programs that support and foster tropical and subtropical agricultural systems and contribute to developing resilient families and businesses in viable communities and a diversified economy, while ensuring a sustainable environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alison Sherwood<\/strong>, associate dean of the College of Natural Sciences, will chair the search advisory committee, whose
