Four University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo men\u2019s soccer<\/a> players were named to the 2022 College Sports Communicators (CSC<\/abbr>) Academic All-District Men’s Soccer Team on November 15. The honor recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.<\/p>\n

The four Vulcan awardees are Brady O’Neill<\/strong>, Wataru Muto<\/strong>, John Grover<\/strong> and Tom Vorkastner<\/strong>. To be nominated, a student-athlete must have been a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA<\/abbr> (on a 4.0 scale), and completed one full calendar year at their current institution.<\/p>\n

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC<\/abbr> Academic All-America ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.<\/p>\n
