This week\u2019s UH<\/abbr> News<\/em> Image of the Week is from University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo’s Jim Mellon<\/strong>, director of international student services<\/a>. The photo was taken by UH<\/abbr> Hilo alum Tearina Asiata<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mellon shared “UH<\/abbr> Hilo celebrated United Nations Day on campus on October 28, with students from about 30 different nations sharing information about their cultures and participating in a joyous Parade of Nations. This photo features two students proudly representing Samoa before the parade began.”<\/p>\n
