University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa women\u2019s volleyball<\/a> player Kate Lang<\/strong> was named Big West Setter of the Week on November 7, after leading the UH<\/abbr> offense to a pair of sweeps against Long Beach State University on November 4 and California State University, Fullerton on November 5.<\/p>\n

The sophomore directed the Rainbow Wahine offense to a combined .307 hitting percentage in both wins to nab her second Setter of the Week award this season. She previously earned the honor on September 26<\/a>. This marks Lang’s fourth overall weekly honor after being tabbed twice as a Freshman of the Week in 2021.<\/p>\n

In the sweep over Long Beach State, Lang recorded her seventh double-double of the season, dishing out 29 assists with 11 digs. She had a .408 set percentage while putting down four kills, a pair of service aces and a block.<\/p>\n

Against Cal State Fullerton, Lang posted a match-high 37 assists with a .481 set percentage while leading the Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> offense to a combined .353 hitting percentage. She added two kills and six digs, tallying career dig No. 400.<\/p>\n

Lang averaged 11.00 assists and 2.83 digs per set in six sets played. She currently averages 10.23 assists per set on the season, placing second in the Big West Conference.<\/p>\n
