University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo men\u2019s soccer<\/a> player Julian Garcia<\/strong> and women\u2019s golfer<\/a> Elle Otani<\/strong> earned KTA Super Stores Superstars of the Week honors for October 26–November 1.<\/p>\n

Garcia, a senior forward, made his eighth career start in his final game for Â鶹´«Ã½Hilo, and helped break a three-game scoreless skid by getting the Vulcans on the scoreboard in the October 29 match against Azusa Pacific University.<\/p>\n

Otani, a freshman, led the Vulcans with round scores of 76 and 73 to finish at five-over par for a No. 18 place tie at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate, held October 28–29.<\/p>\n

The award<\/a> names one male and one female Vulcan Athletics student-athlete each week, highlighting their accomplishments from the prior week.<\/p>\n
