The New Zealand native later put up a mark of 49.02 in the 100 free, good for the fifth-fastest time in program history. <strong>Gabrielle Scudamore<\/strong> also turned in a strong swim in the 100 free, clocking a personal best time of 50.36.<\/p>\n<p>Two Rainbow Wahine delivered top-10 times in the 200 breaststroke, as <strong>Mandolin Nguyen<\/strong> turned in a time of 2:14.86 to put her in sixth all-time, while 2022 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Freshman of the Year <strong>Kathryn Ivanov<\/strong> stopped the clock in 2:16.26 to give her the ninth-fastest time in the event at <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n<p>The Rainbow Wahine also had strong showings in the freestyle relays, starting off the day with a time of 1:30.70 in the 200 free relay. The relay team of <strong>Holly Nelson<\/strong>, Transom, Scudamore and <strong>Helena Djunic<\/strong> put up a time that was just 0.31 off the school record in the event to finish third. In the 400 free relay, Nelson, Scudamore, <strong>Anna Friedrich<\/strong> and Djunic came in fourth in the final event of the day with a time of 3:22.28.<\/p>\n<p>On the <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving?path=mswim\">men&#8217;s side<\/a> of the action, <strong>Milan Bukovics<\/strong> and <strong>Owen Ngan<\/strong> both turned in good efforts in the 400 individual medley, with Bukovics coming in seventh with a mark of 3:56.67 and Ngan in eighth at 3:58.11.
