The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa men’s golf<\/a> team posted its best finish ever at the Bill Cullum Invitational, held October 10–11 in Valencia, California. The Rainbow Warriors carded a 293 for an 862 total, which earned them fourth place.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr>‘s top finisher was Atsuya Oishi<\/strong>, who carded a final round 74 for a 2-under 214 total and a tie for eighth place. Blaze Akana<\/strong> and Tyler Ogawa<\/strong> tied for 19th at 2-over 218 while Remington Hirano<\/strong> was one stroke back at 3-over 219 and a tie for 22nd place.<\/p>\n

Also competing for the Rainbow Warriors were Josh Hayashida<\/strong> (220, t-26th) and Isaiah Kanno<\/strong> (228, t-49th), who was competing as an individual.<\/p>\n

Previously, UH<\/abbr>‘s best finish at the Bill Cullum Invitational was ninth place in 2013<\/a>. The Rainbow Warriors, who were making their seventh all-time appearance at the tournament, finished third among six Big West teams in the 10-team field.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> will return home to host the Kāʻanapali<\/span> Classic Collegiate Invitational, October 28–30 at the Royal Kāʻanapali<\/span> Golf Course on Maui, which will close out the fall season.<\/p>\n
