University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo men\u2019s soccer<\/a> player Tom Vorkastner<\/strong> and women\u2019s soccer<\/a> player Nanea Wall<\/strong> were named KTA<\/abbr> Super Stores Superstars of the Week for September 28–October 4.<\/p>\n

Vorkastner led the men\u2019s soccer team to their win against Academy of Art University<\/a> on October 1, with an early goal and an assist later off a corner kick for the equalizer.<\/p>\n

Wall scored her second goal of the season (11th in career) in the Vulcans\u2019 7-0 win over Academy of Art on October 1. The senior also assisted on two goals prior to her own score in the 40th minute.<\/p>\n

The award names one male and one female Vulcan Athletics student-athlete each week, highlighting their accomplishments from the week prior.<\/p>\n
