University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo men\u2019s golf<\/a> is the first Pacific West Conference Team of the Week as the veteran Vulcan club led five PacWest squads at the Saint Martin’s University Bishop Invitational this past weekend.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> Hilo, which tied for the PacWest title last spring but lost the trophy to Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Pacific University in a playoff, began 2022\u201323 in an impressive fashion.<\/p>\n

The Vulcans were fifth of 14 teams at the SMU Bishop Invitational at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash. The Vulcans turned in consistent scores of 292 and 291 for a 36-hole total of +7.<\/p>\n

Andrew Otani<\/strong> paced UH<\/abbr> Hilo with a fourth-place finish at -4 (69-71).<\/p>\n

Teammates Keith Ng<\/strong> (73-72) and Dustin Franko<\/strong> (72-74) were also in the top 20, tying for 14th and 18th respectively.<\/p>\n
