Since its inception in 1999, <abbr>GEAR UP<\/abbr> has improved educational outcomes for millions of low-income students across the <abbr title=\"United States\">U.S.<\/abbr> <\/p>\n<p>To commemorate the week, several webinars will be held:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday, September 26\u2014College Planning 101<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, September 27\u2014Difference between 2-year colleges and 4-year universities <\/li>\n<li>Wednesday, September 28\u2014How to Pay for College <\/li>\n<li>Thursday, September 29\u2014Finding Scholarships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/collegeiswithinreachhawaii.com\/\">Visit the <abbr>GEAR UP<\/abbr> <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> website to register for the events or for more information<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, <abbr>GEAR UP<\/abbr> <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> serves more than 10,000 low-income students statewide in grades seven through 12 and through their first year in college at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> campuses.
