The <a href=\"https:\/\/explore.outreach.hawaii.edu\/public\/category\/courseCategoryCertificateProfile.do?method=load&#038;certificateId=1124452&#038;selectedProgramAreaId=18357&#038;selectedProgramStreamId=18367\">Clinical Research Professional Certificate Program<\/a> (<abbr>CRPCP<\/abbr>), offered by University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outreach.hawaii.edu\">Outreach College<\/a>, is designed to train clinical research associates to support clinical trials efforts at the <a href=\"http:\/\/uhcancercenter.org\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Cancer Center<\/a>, affiliated hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry. <\/p>\n<p>Students who complete the certificate program will have the credentials to enter one of the fastest growing fields in the U.S. The field of clinical research is thriving in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>. Jobs in clinical research are expected to grow by 13&#37; by 2026. The average salary range for a clinical research associate is $85,999 and can go as high as $136,000 depending on experience.<\/p>\n<p>The Clinical Research Professional Certificate Program runs from August 24 to November 16. The program will equip participants with skills to coordinate cancer clinical trials, manage clinical trials data and to understand research ethics. Nakamura highly recommends registering for <abbr>CRPCP<\/abbr> if individuals wish to pursue a career in clinical research. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I enrolled in the <abbr>CRPCP<\/abbr> not knowing much about the clinical research field and wanted to learn more about it,&rdquo; Nakamura said. &ldquo;Taking the course gave me insight into what it would be like working in the industry and that furthered my interest to pursue clinical research as a career.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p><strong>Jonathan Cho<\/strong>, medical director of the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> Cancer Center\u2019s Clinical Trials Office, said, &ldquo;The Clinical Research Professional Program will be entering its third year, and the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> Cancer Center is already reaping the fruits of its success. It has been a boon to our Clinical Trials Program.
