The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a>‘s Mate Colina<\/strong>, Jerome Desrosiers<\/strong> and Zoar Nedd<\/strong> earned spots on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC<\/abbr>) 2021–22 Honors Court. The NABC<\/abbr> Honors Court recognizes men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.<\/p>\n

This is the third straight year that Colina made the Honors Court. The native of Melbourne, Australia, who is also a four-time All-Big West academic honoree, graduated this past spring with a degree in human development and family studies.<\/p>\n

Nedd earned a spot on the list for the second straight year. The native of Kapolei, Oʻahu<\/span> graduated this past spring with a degree in communication.<\/p>\n

Desrosiers gained a spot on Honors Court in his first year at Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> as a graduate student studying marketing. Desrosiers was previously an academic All-Ivy League selection at Princeton.<\/p>\n

The NABC<\/abbr> Honors Court highlights the talents and gifts that these men possess on the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria: they must hold a cumulative GPA<\/abbr> of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2021–22 academic year, be at least a junior in academic standing, and have been enrolled for at least one year at their current institution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
