University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Regent Randy Moore<\/strong><\/a> was re-elected for a second straight term as the chairperson of the UH<\/abbr> Board of Regents<\/a> at a special meeting held July 7, 2022. Moore’s second term began immediately following the adjournment of the July 7th meeting.<\/p>\n

“Thank you regents. I am honored by your confidence,” said Moore who ran unopposed and was unanimously approved.<\/p>\n

Regent Alapaki Nahale-a<\/strong><\/a> was re-elected as first vice chair and Regent Ernest Wilson<\/strong><\/a> was elected as second vice chair. The meeting was the first for new regents Gabriel Lee<\/strong><\/a> and Laurie Tochiki<\/strong><\/a> who replaced outgoing regents Ben Kudo<\/strong> and Simeon Acoba<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
