A school record, five University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa women golfers<\/a> were selected to the Women\u2019s Golf Coaches Association\u2019s All-American Scholar Team.<\/p>\n

The five honorees\u2014senior Hana Mirnik<\/strong> and freshmen Ting-Yu Liu<\/strong>, Hyeonji Kang<\/strong>, Mayumi Umezu<\/strong> and Momo Sugiyama<\/strong>—are the most in a single-season in program history. Mirnik earned her fourth selection\u2014twice as a Rainbow Wahine and twice at Wichita State, where she competed prior to transferring to UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa.<\/p>\n

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA<\/abbr> is 3.5 with a total of 1,485 women\u2019s collegiate golfers earning the prestigious recognition in 2021–22.<\/p>\n

This is the fourth consecutive year and eighth time in the last 10 years that at least one Rainbow Wahine was named to the All-American Scholar Team.<\/p>\n
