The engineering and design skills of University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa College of Engineering<\/a> students were on full display at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE<\/abbr>) Pacific Southwest Student Symposium<\/a> in San Diego, California. Out of 14 schools from Southern California and Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>, UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s ASCE<\/abbr> student chapter<\/a> placed fourth overall and within the top 3 in three major competitions, including timber strong design build, concrete canoe and transportation design.<\/p>\n

The symposium from March 31 to April 2 is held annually to allow students to display their hard work in various engineering-related events. UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa finished in the top three in the following categories:<\/p>\n
