The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> community is creating a buzz ahead of the 11th annual head-shaving fundraiser<\/a> hosted by St. Baldrick\u2019s Foundation on April 24, 12–5 p.m. UH<\/abbr> students, faculty, staff and the general public are invited to support the organization which has helped to provide opportunities for doctors, summer research fellows and earth scientists.<\/p>\n

St. Baldrick\u2019s Foundation has granted more than $470,000 to researchers and student fellows<\/a> focused on pediatric cancer research at the UH<\/abbr> Cancer Center<\/a>, UH<\/abbr> Mānoa\u2019s John A. Burns School of Medicine<\/a> (JABSOM<\/abbr>), Kapiʻolani<\/span> Medical Center for Women and Children and Tripler Army Medical Center.<\/p>\n
