The victory on November 20 improved <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr>\u2019s record to 5-7 and 2-5 in the Mountain West Conference (<abbr>MWC<\/abbr>). Colorado State dropped to 3-8 and 2-5 in the <abbr>MWC<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;Bows were led by junior quarterback <strong>Chevan Cordeiro<\/strong> who threw for 406 yards and two touchdowns, including a 93-yard connection with senior wide receiver <strong>Zion Bowens<\/strong> in the second quarter. Bowens finished the night with six receptions for 172 yards and one touchdown. Junior wide receiver <strong>Nick Mardner<\/strong> added five receptions for 97 yards and one touchdown, and senior running back\/wide receiver <strong>Calvin Turner <abbr title=\"Junior\">Jr<\/abbr>.<\/strong> contributed seven receptions for 94 yards. Senior running back <strong>Dedrick Parson<\/strong> led the ground attack with 11 carries for 78 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_152092\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-152092\" style=\"width: 214px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/manoa-athletics-darius-muasau-214x300.jpg\" alt=\"person in a uniform running after another person in a uniform\" width=\"214\" height=\"300\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-152092\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/manoa-athletics-darius-muasau-214x300.jpg 214w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/manoa-athletics-darius-muasau-93x130.jpg 93w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/manoa-athletics-darius-muasau.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 214px) 100vw, 214px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-152092\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Darius Muasau<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On the defensive side, <strong>Darius Muasau<\/strong> led the team with two sacks, three forced fumbles and his 13 tackles put him over 100 on the season for the second straight year. The performance earned the junior linebacker the <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/news\/2021\/11\/22\/football-muasau-selected-as-mountain-wests-defensive-player-of-the-week.aspx\"><abbr>MWC<\/abbr> Defensive Player of the Week award<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Rainbow Warriors scored on their first three possessions of the game&#8212;all resulting in sophomore <strong>Matthew Shipley<\/strong> field goals&#8212;and produced a multitude of long touchdown plays. The night was fueled by nearly 1,200 yards of total offense and close to 100 points by both teams. The 50 points scored by <abbr>UH<\/abbr> were the most in the <strong>Todd Graham<\/strong> era. Following the game, 17 Rainbow Warriors were honored during a senior ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Senior day, coming out and honoring those guys&#8212;great effort by our guys,&rdquo; Graham said. &ldquo;Obviously it was a hard fought deal, you never can be easy. But the bottom line, we got it done, we won. What a great group of kids&#8212;love celebrating these guys.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><abbr>UH<\/abbr> heads on the road to Wyoming on Saturday, November 27 for its regular season finale.
