The University of Hawai\u02bbi<\/span> celebrates UH<\/abbr> Day at the State Capitol on Wednesday, March 20, 9 a.m. at the State Capitol Rotunda.<\/p>\n

\"U<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme is Healthy People, Healthy Pets. The event will include interactive exhibits by various UH<\/abbr> campuses, including the John A. Burns School of Medicine<\/a>, the UH<\/abbr> Cancer Center<\/a>, UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa\u2019s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources<\/a>, UH<\/abbr> Hilo\u2019s College of Pharmacy<\/a>, Kapi\u02bbolani<\/span> Community College<\/a>, Windward Community College\u2019s veterinary program<\/a> and more.<\/p>\n

In addition, there will be a farm animal exhibit featuring sheep and two newborn lambs.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> Day at the State Capitol is part of the state legislatures\u2019 10th Annual Education Week. The event is coordinated by the Hawai\u02bbi<\/span> State Senate Committee on Education, chaired by Senator Jill Tokuda.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> cheerleaders will lead a pep rally to kick off the event. There will also be prizes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
