(Photo credit: Melissa Price)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>More experts are recognizing that creating solutions that integrate multiple ways of knowing is essential to a sustainable future in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> and around the world. The University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (<abbr>OVPRI<\/abbr>) will spotlight that collaborative pathway at <a href=\"https:\/\/research.hawaii.edu\/blending-of-culture-and-science\/\">A <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> Innovation Virtual Conference<\/a> November 15&#8211;17. The virtual conference is free and open to the first 1,000 participants. <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaii.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_uvgUa60rQLGnlstI0uY-HA\">Register online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the second session, <span aria-label=\"\u201cAina\">\u201c&#699;&#256;ina<\/span> Momona: Cultivating a Thriving <span aria-label=\"Hawaii,\u201d\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½,\u201d<\/span> on November 16, 8&#8211;10 a.m., a live panel will discuss innovative solutions, rooted in Indigenous knowledge, that can lead to thriving communities in the next century.
