The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa football team<\/a> got off to a slow start and couldn\u2019t recover in a 51-31 loss to Utah State University on October 30 at Maverik Stadium in Logan, Utah. The Rainbow Warriors dropped to 4-5 overall and 1-3 in the Mountain West.<\/p>\n

The Aggies stung the Warriors with a big-play passing game while stifling the Rainbow Warrior resurgent running game en route to their sixth straight win in the series.<\/p>\n

After missing the last three games, Chevan Cordeiro<\/strong> returned as UH<\/abbr>\u2019s starting quarterback. Cordeiro finished 23-of-39 for 296 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Both Dedrick Parson<\/strong> and Calvin Turner Jr.<\/strong> posted 100-yard receiving games while also each finding the end zone.<\/p>\n

But after rushing for better than 200 yards in three of its last four games, UH<\/abbr> finished with a season low 12 yards. UH<\/abbr> also turned the ball over three times and surrendered five sacks.<\/p>\n

Darius Muasau<\/strong> led the UH<\/abbr> defense with a season-high 16 tackles, including 2.5 for loss as UH<\/abbr> recorded a season-high 11 in the category.<\/p>\n

The Warriors now return home for a nationally televised game versus San Diego State on November 6<\/a> at 5 p.m. HST<\/abbr>. For the first time, UH<\/abbr> will be able to welcome a full capacity home crowd<\/a> at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.<\/abbr><\/p>\n
