This was the first time the team played in front of fans since October 27, 2019 and the first <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa home athletics event with fans since a pair of softball games on March 11, 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Despite freshman forward <strong>Nicole Ando<\/strong>\u2019s first goal of her career, the Rainbow Wahine fell to <abbr>UC<\/abbr> Irvine 4-1. The Anteaters were led by Scarlett Camberos with a hat trick. With the loss, <abbr>UH<\/abbr> fell to 0-9-3 on the season and 0-5-2 in the Big West Conference.<\/p>\n<p>The Rainbow Wahine will head on the road for two conference matches before returning home for their regular season finale on October 31 against <abbr>UC<\/abbr> San Diego.<\/p>\n<h2>Fan guidelines<\/h2>\n<p>Due to state and city mandates, a maximum of 1,000 fans will be allowed to attend any outdoor sporting event. Beginning Wednesday, October 20, indoor seated entertainment venues are allowed at 50&#37; capacity or a maximum of 500 attendees (whichever is smaller). All attendees must be vaccinated, masked and physically distanced, and all events must have an approved COVID-19 mitigation plan. No food or beverages will be allowed, other than water.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone attending <abbr>UH<\/abbr> home athletic events will need to comply with <abbr>UH<\/abbr>\u2019s COVID-19 vaccination policy. This includes uploading proof of vaccination to the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> LumiSight app, receiving approval (may take up to several days), passing the daily health check-in on the app and showing the green &ldquo;You may report to campus&rdquo; status with the current date to be allowed into the stadium on gameday. There will be no concession stands, face masks will be required unless actively drinking water and attendees must be physically distanced.<\/p>\n<h2>More on the LumiSight app<\/h2>\n<p>LumiSight <abbr>UH<\/abbr> is available for free on the <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/lumisight-uh\/id1519381585\">Apple App Store<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.novidcampus.novidcampusapp&#038;hl\">Google Play Store<\/a>. It is also available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/uh.campus.lumisight.com\/\">LumiSight <abbr>UH<\/abbr> website<\/a> for those without access to a suitable mobile device, or those who prefer not to download the mobile app. Anyone who has to be on a <abbr>UH<\/abbr> campus or an off-campus facility is required to use the LumiSight <abbr>UH<\/abbr> app.<\/p>\n<h2>Next <abbr>UH<\/abbr> home events<\/h2>\n<p>The remaining <abbr>UH<\/abbr> home athletic events for October are a home football game against New Mexico State on October 23 at the Clarence <abbr title=\"Thing Chong\">T.C.<\/abbr> Ching Athletics Complex, women\u2019s volleyball at the <abbr>SimpliFi<\/abbr> Arena at Stan Sheriff Center on October 29 (<abbr title=\"Versus\">vs<\/abbr>. <abbr>UC<\/abbr> Davis) and October 30 (<abbr>vs<\/abbr>. <abbr>UC<\/abbr> Riverside), and Rainbow Wahine soccer\u2019s last regular season match of the season on October 31 (<abbr>vs<\/abbr>. <abbr>UC<\/abbr> San Diego).
