A pair of Vulcan transfers—Keith Ng<\/strong> and Daelenn Tokunaga<\/strong>—had huge weekends and are the first University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo Pepsi Athletes of the Week for the 2021\u201322 season.<\/p>\n

It was quite the debut for Vulcan golfer Ng, who won the first tournament that he entered in for UH<\/abbr> Hilo. The University of British Columbia transfer shot a final day tally of 68 (4-under par) to take over the lead and cruise to the win by four strokes at the Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Pacific University Sharks Shootout. Ng shot a 73 on the first day and finished the tournament at -3.<\/p>\n

Soccer forward Tokunaga had a monster match to help her team bust out offensively during a 4-0 win over Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Pacific University last weekend. The former Rainbow Wahine scored UH<\/abbr> Hilo’s first and third goals of the match, and she assisted on the fourth to give her five points on the day.<\/p>\n
