One of the leading national and international university rankings organizations has recognized the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> for its research and academic excellence. The 2022 Times Higher Education<\/em> World University Rankings<\/a>, released on September 2 BST<\/abbr> (September 1 HST<\/abbr>), lists UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa No<\/abbr>. 63 in the nation out of approximately 4,000 total colleges and universities in the U.S.<\/a><\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr>\u2019s flagship campus was also placed in the 251–300 tier worldwide, which is among the top 2% in the world. Times Higher Education<\/em> considers more than 1,600 institutions out of 26,000 colleges and universities worldwide to be eligible for its rankings.<\/p>\n

The rankings criteria include 13 performance indicators across five broad areas: teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income.<\/p>\n
