That move will have an impact on parking availability on game days.<\/p>\n<p>The shift to campus was made after officials informed <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> in December 2020 that Aloha Stadium, home to the Rainbow Warriors since 1975, would not be able to host fans starting with the 2021 season. The move to bring football on campus has generated a considerable amount of excitement among the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M&#257;noa community and many across the state.<\/p>\n<p>For 2021, there will be <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiiathletics.com\/sports\/football\/schedule\">six games on campus<\/a>. All will be played on Saturdays.<\/p>\n<h2><abbr>UH<\/abbr> Football 2021 home game schedule<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>September 4\u2014Portland State<\/li>\n<li>September 18\u2014San Jose State<\/li>\n<li>October 2\u2014Fresno State<\/li>\n<li>October 23\u2014New Mexico State<\/li>\n<li>November 6\u2014San Diego State<\/li>\n<li>November 20\u2014Colorado State<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Preliminary parking plans<\/h2>\n<p>Parking plans are still being finalized, but <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M&#257;noa officials provided some early details of what to expect for game days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Football parking locations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_146004\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-146004\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/manoa-football-parking-map-300x169.png\" alt=\"Parking map of U H Manoa campus for football game days\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-146004\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/manoa-football-parking-map-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/manoa-football-parking-map-130x73.png 130w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/manoa-football-parking-map.png 676w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-146004\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/manoa-football-parking-map-large.png\">For larger image<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Zone 20 Parking Structure: The Zone 20 parking structure will be restricted to only those who purchase a &ldquo;football parking pass.&rdquo; Regular <abbr>UH<\/abbr> parking passes will not be recognized. Starting midnight the night before game days, the Parking Structure will be closed. Student residents and permit holders who normally park in the Zone 20 parking structure by the Ching Field Athletic Complex will be required to relocate their vehicles by 9 a.m. on game day.<\/li>\n<li>Zones 1, 2, 3, 4 (except near Agricultural Sciences), middle and upper 9, 12, 13, 17, 18 and 19: These zones will be restricted to football parking, and all permit holders are required to relocate their vehicles by 9 a.m. on game day. Regular <abbr>UH<\/abbr> parking passes will not be recognized.<\/li>\n<li>All green stalls are restricted to football parking only from 9 a.m. on game day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Student and employee parking locations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zones 4 (by Agricultural Sciences) and 5: All <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M&#257;noa parking passes will be honored at Zone 4\u2014Agricultural Sciences and Zone 5\u2014Biomedical Building parking lot on a first-come, first-served basis. <\/li>\n<li>Zone 7 and lower portion of Zone 9: Student-residents with Zone 20 permits may park at the <span aria-label=\"Hawaiinuiakea\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½nui&#257;kea<\/span> School of Hawaiian Knowledge parking lot (Zone 7) and NOAA parking lot across from Frear Hall (lower portion of Zone 9) on a first-come, first-served basis. <\/li>\n<li>Zones 8, 21, 22 and 25: No changes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At this time, we are anticipating a sold out event.
