More than 700 institutions worldwide were considered by <abbr>RUR<\/abbr> for the humanities and natural sciences rankings.<\/p>\n<p><abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa was also highly ranked in four other <abbr>RUR<\/abbr> subject rankings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Social Sciences (Released in November 2020)&#8212;&ldquo;Golden League&rdquo; <abbr>No<\/abbr>. 106 worldwide, <abbr>No<\/abbr>. 41 U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Medical Sciences (Released in November 2020)&#8212;&ldquo;Silver League&rdquo; <abbr>No<\/abbr>. 259 worldwide, <abbr>No<\/abbr>. 78 U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Technical Sciences (Released in June 2021)&#8212;&ldquo;Bronze League&rdquo; <abbr>No<\/abbr>. 325 worldwide, <abbr>No<\/abbr>. 74 U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Life Sciences (Released in November 2020)&#8212;&ldquo;Bronze League&rdquo; <abbr>No<\/abbr>. 328 worldwide, <abbr>No<\/abbr>. 78 U.S.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All subject rankings are based on teaching (40&#37;), research (40&#37;), international diversity (10&#37;) and financial sustainability (10&#37;).<\/p>\n<h2><abbr>RUR<\/abbr> world university rankings<\/h2>\n<p><abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa earned a &ldquo;Golden League&rdquo;
