Each group of up to 10 people will receive buckets and supplies at the Aquarium and proceed to clean the surrounding parks and beaches. All participants must follow the state tier 3 guidelines. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSconXEnWseQxlDYWnoimbN3-VbjU_4MsEk9WubkUg3c-eJS5Q\/viewform\">Advanced registration is required as space is limited<\/a>. <\/p>\n<h2>Sunscreen Trade-In on June 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.<\/h2>\n<p>Guests can stop by The Shop on World Ocean Day to trade in their sunscreen and purchase reef-safe sunscreen to receive 15% off their entire gift shop purchase. Exclusions apply. Shoppers can also take advantage of the sale by emailing <a href=\"mailto:shop@waikikiaquarium.org\">shop@waikikiaquarium.org<\/a> to schedule an appointment. Proceeds from The Shop benefit Aquarium programs, exhibits and research.<\/p>\n<h2>Educational resources <\/h2>\n<p>During World Ocean Month, the Aquarium will be releasing new virtual educational resources on its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/waikikiaquarium\">Facebook<\/a> including: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>World Reef Day<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/fb.watch\/5URNPN8I7O\/\">The Aquarium premiered a new video on its Facebook page with a focus on World Reef Day<\/a>. This day calls for the community to raise awareness and take action to create positive change to protect the world\u2019s reefs. Coral reefs are some of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Fish and other organisms find shelter, food, reproduce and raise their young in the reef.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hawaiians and the Sea on June 21 and 28<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Aquarium will be live streaming new Hawaiians and the Sea presentations from Outrigger Waik\u012bk\u012b and the Outrigger Reef. <strong>Dean Spencer<\/strong>, Waik\u012bk\u012b Aquarium school support program coordinator, will share rare artifacts and information about how the early Hawaiians survived and sustained their livelihood prior to other cultures coming to <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ocean Classroom in June<\/strong><br \/>\nA new episode of Ocean Classroom featuring Patty Miller, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration\u2019s Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary education coordinator will be released.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information, visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.waikikiaquarium.org\/\">Waik\u012bk\u012b Aquarium website<\/a>.
