This year, people can watch videos in English or Hawaiian&#8212;an option that aligns with &#699;Imiloa\u2019s mission of merging science and Hawaiian culture.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_137354\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-137354\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/imiloa-solar-system-walk-decal-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"Venus decal\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-137354\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/imiloa-solar-system-walk-decal-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/imiloa-solar-system-walk-decal-130x73.jpg 130w, https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/imiloa-solar-system-walk-decal.jpg 676w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-137354\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Information on the walk is featured in English and <span aria-label=\"olelo\">&#699;&#333;lelo<\/span> <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&ldquo;&#699;Imiloa is excited to support this year&#8217;s Solar System Walk&#8212;especially with the dual language options available for those who want to study the solar system ma ka <span aria-label=\"olelo\">&#699;&#333;lelo<\/span> <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span>&#8212;through the Hawaiian language.&rdquo; said Executive Director <strong><span aria-label=\"Kaiu\">Ka&#699;iu<\/span> Kimura<\/strong>. &ldquo;We mahalo the Maunakea Observatories for creating this opportunity for our local Waimea &#699;ohana and look forward to seeing keiki explore the universe in ways that relate to them and their community.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Maunakea Observatories organized the free month-long event and adjusted it so &#699;ohana can go on self-guided tours due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some videos on the walk\u2019s route feature <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifa.hawaii.edu\/\">Institute for Astronomy<\/a> (<abbr>IfA<\/abbr>) faculty, including <abbr>IfA<\/abbr> Maui Outreach Astronomer <strong>J.D.
