The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa men\u2019s volleyball team<\/a> ascended to the top spot in this week\u2019s AVCA<\/abbr> Coaches Top 15 poll, leapfrogging previous No. 1 BYU<\/abbr>, who dropped to No. 2 this week.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Warriors (4-0) received 15 of the 16 first place votes and 239 total points. BYU<\/abbr> received the other first place vote and is No. 2 followed by No. 3 Pepperdine, No. 4 UC<\/abbr> Santa Barbara and No. 5 Lewis.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> also holds the No. 1 ranking in the Off the Block Media Poll. The Warriors either held the top spot outright or shared it for the past three weeks.<\/p>\n

Â鶹´«Ã½successfully opened its season by winning all four matches on the road last week, comprising consecutive two-match series sweeps of UC<\/abbr> Irvine and UC<\/abbr> San Diego.<\/p>\n
