The 50-page booklet provides information, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supplies to have on hand now for your household<\/li>\n<li>What to ask the sick person\u2019s healthcare provider and\/or how to locate one<\/li>\n<li>What to do when isolating at home<\/li>\n<li>Tips on caregiver safety, <abbr title=\"personal protective equipment\">PPE<\/abbr>s, cleaning and disinfecting<\/li>\n<li>Self-care advice<\/li>\n<li>Statewide resources (community health centers, food banks, COVID-19 assistance, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Fillable sheet for important contacts and health monitoring log<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&ldquo;I am honored to have been included as a member of the <abbr>DOH<\/abbr> Public Health Nursing team that led these efforts,&rdquo; said <strong>Kristine Qureshi<\/strong>, <abbr>SONDH<\/abbr> associate dean of research and global health. &ldquo;This booklet provides a wealth of information about how to provide COVID-19 care in the home setting, keep other family members safe and sources for additional support. It is also an excellent resource to read through as we can all do our best to be prepared in the event a family member does get infected with COVID-19.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<p>Information regarding COVID-19 is being updated as more is learned about the virus.
