The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> earned high marks in the 2021 U.S. News and World Report<\/em>\u2019s Best Global Universities rankings<\/a> released on October 20.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa is ranked No<\/abbr>. 378 worldwide and No. 109 in the U.S. In addition, UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa is No<\/abbr>. 97 in international collaboration in the U.S.<\/abbr>, No<\/abbr>. 106 in regional research reputation and No<\/abbr>. 237 in global research reputation.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr>\u2019s flagship campus is also highly ranked globally in several areas, including No<\/abbr>. 63 in geosciences, No<\/abbr>. 110 in space science, No<\/abbr>. 125 in arts and humanities, No<\/abbr>. 180 in environment\/ecology and No<\/abbr>. 241 in social sciences and public health.<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa is ahead of the University of Oklahoma (No<\/abbr>. 414), California State University, Fresno (No<\/abbr>. 494), Boston College (No<\/abbr>. 595) and San Diego State University (No<\/abbr>. 614).<\/p>\n

The rankings, which are in their seventh year, evaluate nearly 1,500 eligible research universities of more than 26,000 institutions worldwide. The Best Global Universities rankings analyze several factors, including global and regional research reputation, publications, citations and international collaboration.<\/p>\n
