Three finalists have been identified for the position of director of the Institute for Astronomy<\/a> (IfA<\/abbr>) at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Manoa. The finalists are each scheduled for virtual visits over a three-day period with participants on the islands of Oʻahu<\/span>, Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> and Maui. The visits include: department discussions; meetings with senior administrators, faculty, staff, students and internal and external constituents; and a public presentation.<\/p>\n

The decision to meet with the finalists virtually was made to protect the health and welfare of the UH<\/abbr> community, community members and the general public. The candidates will be participating from their home institutions with each session hosted by UH<\/abbr>\/IfA<\/abbr>. Campus and community members, as well as the general public, are encouraged to attend the public presentations.<\/p>\n

The campus visits of the three candidates have been scheduled as follows (the first day will be with participants on Oʻahu<\/span>, the second day with participants on Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>, and the third day with participants on Maui):<\/p>\n
