In this innovative 7-week program, young explorers will experience fun, engaging and educational activities, outdoor exploration, and observations grounded in Hawaiian culture, science, math and art&#8212;all from <span aria-label=\"Imiloa\">&#699;Imiloa<\/span>\u2019s facilities and outdoor gardens.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Related <abbr>UH<\/abbr> News story:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2020\/04\/05\/imiloa-at-home\/\"><span aria-label=\"Imiloa\">&#699;Imiloa<\/span> Astronomy Center launches program for families<\/a>, April 5, 2020<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The program\u2019s structure supports the students\u2019 required distance learning sessions and remote schoolwork. COVID-19 has dramatically impacted all of our revenue streams since March and this program would simply not be possible without their generosity!&rdquo; said Executive Director <strong><br \/>\n<span aria-label=\"Kaiu\">Ka&#699;iu<\/span> Kimura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Naleimaile, who has two children currently attending the Session 1 program, added, &ldquo;During this pandemic we were fortunate to receive scholarship assistance but I truly believe this program is 100% worth the investment. There is a new curriculum every day!
