Now more than ever, &rsquo;BOWS TOGETHER!&rdquo; said <abbr title=\"university of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Athletics Director <strong>David Matlin<\/strong> in a new video.<\/p>\n<p>The &rsquo;BOWS TOGETHER logo was created with various elements in the department&#8217;s theme for 2020. Athletics is highlighted with the traditional H mark and kapa font representing the foundation of <abbr>UH<\/abbr> Athletics&#8212;21 teams, 500 student-athletes and 200 employees that serve the state&#8217;s only <abbr title=\"national collegiate athletic association\">NCAA<\/abbr> Division <abbr title=\"Roman numeral one\">I<\/abbr> intercollegiate athletics program. The uppercase letters show unity and pride for our university. The island chain, which represents our home, our <span aria-label=\"ohana\">&#699;ohana<\/span> (families), friends and partners, starts at the letter &ldquo;W&rdquo; and ends at the letter &ldquo;E&rdquo; which signifies WE are all in this together.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the &rsquo;BOWS TOGETHER theme, <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa coaches, student-athletes and athletics staff participated in several public service announcements including mask-up and voter registration campaigns.
