The requirement to have a final exam has been waived.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on faculty eligibility listed by course type, the following services are offered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Instructor self-administered online remote proctor <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/undergrad\/testing-center\/mtc_flier2-1\/\">training sessions<\/a>. <\/li>\n<li> Compensation allowances for <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/undergrad\/testing-center\/instructor-provided-supplemental-proctor\/\">additional proctors<\/a> who are identified by instructors. <\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/undergrad\/testing-center\/process-to-request-services\/\">Additional remote student proctors<\/a> for eligible <em>online<\/em> exams.<\/li>\n<li>In-person synchronous exams for students who are unable to meet online remote testing requirements.<\/li>\n<li>A method for students to &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/undergrad\/testing-center\/student-find-your-own-proctor-method\/\">find their own proctor<\/a>&rdquo; if they are unable to meet online remote testing requirements <em>AND<\/em> are unable to come into <abbr>MTC<\/abbr>. Instructor and <abbr>MTC<\/abbr> approvals required.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/undergrad\/testing-center\/make-up-exams-2\/\">In-person make-up exams<\/a> for eligible courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although <abbr>MTC<\/abbr> may provide additional services, instructors are responsible for creating their own online exams and are expected to run the remote proctoring session through Zoom. <abbr>MTC<\/abbr> will not be responsible for running exam proctoring for an entire class in lieu of instructors.<\/p>\n<p>Online courses must have online exams. Instructors can offer an in-person option but cannot require it.
