The test will be a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/downloads\/community\/COVID-19-testing-deep-nasal-self-swab.pdf\">self-administered nasal swab<\/a> (<span class=\"small-text\"><abbr title=\"Portable Document Format\">PDF<\/abbr><\/span>) supervised by trained medical volunteers. The results will be emailed in three to five business days.<\/p>\n<p>Testing is available to the public so please plan accordingly for possible traffic delays and wait times. Please observe all physical distancing and face covering mandates.<\/p>\n<p><strong><abbr>UH<\/abbr> West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span><\/strong>: Drive-through testing, Saturday, September 12, 9 a.m.&#8211;4 p.m.<br \/>\nEnter the West <span aria-label=\"Oahu\">O&#699;ahu<\/span> campus from Farrington <abbr title=\"highway\">Hwy<\/abbr> and continue down Road A. Please anticipate delays. Although the campus will remain accessible at all times, arriving by 7 a.m. is recommended.<\/p>\n<p><strong><abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa<\/strong>: Walk-in testing Sunday, September 13, 9 a.m.&#8211;4 p.m.<br \/>\n<abbr>UH<\/abbr> employees with valid parking permits are allowed to park in any marked stall on upper campus. The line will begin on the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Hall end of the McCarthy Mall. For students in the Modified Quarantine program, participating in the testing on Sunday will be allowed as an official university activity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leeward <abbr>CC<\/abbr><\/strong>: Walk-in testing, Sunday, September 13, 9 a.m.&#8211;4 p.m.<br \/>\nParking will be available in the lots fronting the <abbr>LA<\/abbr> and Education buildings and on the Diamond Head side of campus. Registration will take place on the lawn fronting the <abbr>LA<\/abbr> Building while the testing collection will be on the Learning Commons concourse.<\/p>\n<p>The walk-in testing is ONLY for people who are NOT symptomatic and have NOT been possibly exposed to the virus. Please do not attend if you are experiencing symptoms and\/or have come into &ldquo;close contact&rdquo; with someone who tested positive. Isolate yourself as soon as possible and contact your healthcare provider.<\/p>\n<p>You may participate in the drive-through testing even if you are experiencing possible COVID-19 symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of people, including <abbr>UH<\/abbr> students and employees, took advantage of the opportunity to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2020\/08\/31\/covid-19-testing-on-uh-campuses\/\">do the COVID-19 test during the previous surge testing<\/a> at <abbr>UH<\/abbr> campuses.<\/p>\n<p>The free testing at the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> campuses is part of the &ldquo;surge testing&rdquo; by the City and County of Honolulu, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (<abbr>DHHS<\/abbr>) and the Office of the Surgeon General.
