The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> and Spectrum Networks announced a multi-year extension to continue with Spectrum as the official TV home for UH<\/abbr> Athletics. With the partnership, Spectrum Sports will air live games and programming of UH<\/abbr> men\u2019s and women\u2019s sports, and will continue to make UH<\/abbr> football games available on Spectrum Sports Pay-Per-View in Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

“Spectrum Sports has served as the official TV<\/abbr> home of UH<\/abbr> Athletics since 2011, and we are proud that our coverage has allowed us to engage with Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> sports fans for nearly a decade.” said Spectrum Networks Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Senior Director Dan Schmidt. “We recognize the passion this community has for its Rainbow Wahine and Rainbow Warrior student-athletes, and together with the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> we\u2019re proud to continue our commitment of delivering live programming and game coverage that Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> fans love.”<\/p>\n

Spectrum Sports will continue to feature live game coverage of men\u2019s volleyball, women\u2019s soccer, men\u2019s basketball, women\u2019s basketball, baseball and softball, with an added commitment to feature women\u2019s water polo.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re excited to continue our longstanding partnership with Spectrum and look forward to adding our nationally ranked water polo program to the lineup,” said UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Athletics Director David Matlin<\/strong>. “Since 2011, Spectrum Sports has been a household name, and our fans have come to expect quality telecasts night in and night out. We share in the excitement with each Rainbow Wahine and Rainbow Warrior victory, whether at home or in our athletic venues.”<\/p>\n

Spectrum and UH<\/abbr> will also continue to offer UH<\/abbr> football games via pay-per-view for Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> residents, and streaming options in partnership with the Mountain West Conference for fans outside of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>. UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa women\u2019s volleyball games will continue to air exclusively in Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> on Spectrum OC<\/abbr>16.<\/p>\n

Spectrum Sports is available on channels 12 (SD<\/abbr>) and 1012 (HD<\/abbr>) for Spectrum subscribers, and on channels 89 (SD<\/abbr>) and 1089 (HD<\/abbr>) for Hawaiian Telcom subscribers. OC<\/abbr>16 is an exclusive channel of Spectrum, and is available on channels 16 (HD<\/abbr>) and 1016 (HD<\/abbr>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
