The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa<\/a> women\u2019s tennis team has been named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA<\/abbr>) All-Academic Team<\/a> for the fifth consecutive year.<\/p>\n

All 10 members of the team also earned ITA<\/abbr> Scholar-Athlete awards individually, marking the first time that an entire UH<\/abbr> women\u2019s team has been honored for academic excellence.<\/p>\n

Student-athlete Michelle Pits<\/strong> became the third Rainbow Wahine to earn the Scholar-Athlete award for all four years of her collegiate career, joining Alzbeta Houbova<\/strong> (2016–19) and Martina Kostalova<\/strong> (2012–15). Players Nikola Dolakova<\/strong> and Petra Melounova<\/strong> are three-time recipients for the honor, while redshirt junior Sophia Storch<\/strong> earned the academic achievement for the second time.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Wahine have earned the ITA<\/abbr> All-Academic Team a total of 10 times. Since 1983, the women’s team has had 96 players earn ITA<\/abbr> Scholar-Athlete awards.<\/p>\n
