said <abbr>DOH<\/abbr> Director Bruce Anderson at a May 13 news conference with <abbr title=\"governor\">Gov.<\/abbr> David Ige.<\/p>\n<p>Protocols for testing, along contact tracing and quarantine as needed, are key components in <abbr>UH<\/abbr>\u02bbs plans to resume in-person instruction at <abbr>UH<\/abbr>\u02bbs 10 campuses in the fall semester, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2020\/05\/04\/uh-preparing-safe-fall-return\/\">which the university announced on May 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/?s=UH-DOH+Contact+Tracing+Program\">Read more <em><abbr>UH<\/abbr> News<\/em> stories about the <abbr>UH-DOH<\/abbr> Contact Tracing Training Program<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><abbr>UH<\/abbr> President <strong>David Lassner<\/strong> confirmed that <abbr>UH<\/abbr> and <abbr>DOH<\/abbr> have already had initial conversations on testing and that the university is looking forward to more detailed discussions.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;There are a number of universities on the mainland that have worked through approaches, and we will be studying some of the best practices elsewhere,&rdquo;
