Originally designed as an in-person format, the conference was revamped to an online platform due to the COVID-19 crisis. Organizers said the 24th annual event went smoothly and successfully.<\/p>\n<p>Dean <strong>Laura Lyons<\/strong> delivered a welcome and acknowledged the following student chairs and their innovative work:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Victoria Lee<\/strong>, second language studies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tyler Miyashiro<\/strong>, East Asian Languages and Literatures<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thu H\u00e0 Nguyen<\/strong>, second language studies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Denis Melik Tangiyev<\/strong>, second language studies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Chao Truong<\/strong>, second language studies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kristen Urada<\/strong>, second language studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following MA and PhD students delivered presentations reflecting the wide range of outstanding scholarship and research that takes place within the college:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jenniefer Corpuz<\/strong>, English<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lane &ldquo;Laneski&rdquo; Davey<\/strong>, English<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bonnie Fox<\/strong>, East Asian Languages and Literatures<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jacob Hakim<\/strong>, linguistics<\/li>\n<li><strong>Christie Honor\u00e9<\/strong>, English<\/li>\n<li><strong>Micah Lau<\/strong>, English<\/li>\n<li><strong>Christina Lee<\/strong>, English<\/li>\n<li><strong>LynleyShimat Lys<\/strong>, English<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thu H\u00e0 Nguyen<\/strong>, second language studies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Michaela Nuesser<\/strong>, second language studies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Joana O\u2019Steen<\/strong>, English<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jeffrey Otto<\/strong>, second language studies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kevin Rickman<\/strong>, second language studies<\/li>\n<li><strong>Luc\u00eda Camardiel Sardi\u00f1a<\/strong>, Languages and Literatures of Europe and the Americas<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ching Shek<\/strong>, East Asian Languages and Literatures<\/li>\n<li><strong>Melinda S.
