Due to the COVID-19<\/abbr> pandemic, the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa William S. Richardson School of Law<\/a> will continue to accept juris doctor applications for fall 2020.<\/p>\n

Admissions Director Elisabeth Steele Hutchison<\/strong> announced that applications will now be accepted through July 1, 2020.<\/p>\n

“We are reopening admissions for the coming academic year,” Hutchison said. “As we all struggle with the impact of COVID-19<\/abbr>, we want to give potential law students one less worry. We believe that extending this deadline will assist people looking toward the future who want to increase their skills as our country and our world emerge from these hazardous times.”<\/p>\n

UH<\/abbr> School of Law Dean Avi Soifer<\/strong> noted that the law school already anticipates having a very talented entering class, but he explained that “we have recently been hearing from potential applicants who now want to return to Â鶹´«Ã½,<\/span> as well as from others who understandably think Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> will be a great place to hone their skills within an unusually supportive atmosphere.”<\/p>\n
