The first Summer Session runs from May 26 to July 3 and the second Summer Session is from July 6 to August 14.<\/p>\n<p>The university will decide by May 15 whether in-person classes will be added to the second Summer Session depending on the status of the COVID-19 health crisis. There are more than 450 <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Summer Session courses being offered online. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.outreach.hawaii.edu\/summer\/\">See the full schedule of courses online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We have such a great range of course offerings during the summer session and we hope our students take advantage of the opportunity,&rdquo; said <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Provost <strong>Michael Bruno<\/strong>. &ldquo;Everyone in the community is invited to take a class or two. With many of us confined to our homes, it is a great opportunity to begin work towards a degree or to take a course in an area of interest.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uhfoundation.org\/give\/giving-opportunity\/covid-19\">Support the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> Student Relief fund and COVID-19 research<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Registration for the first Summer Session is underway. The <abbr>UH<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Outreach College is working with academic departments to increase the number of online courses.<\/p>\n<p>Students will receive announcements via email as Summer Sessions 2020 updates become available.
