All supervisors were encouraged to expeditiously approve the Request, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/ohr\/documents\/10268\">a more detailed work plan<\/a> to be formalized within 5 working days. These Requests shall continue to be managed and maintained by your unit.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/leave\/\">Online Leave System<\/a> has been updated with a &ldquo;COVID-19 &#8211; Work From Home&rdquo; leave type to allow the university to capture the dates that all employees have been authorized to work from home for reporting purposes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uhfoundation.org\/give\/giving-opportunity\/covid-19\">Support the <abbr>UH<\/abbr> Student Relief fund and COVID-19 research<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that the submission of this leave type does not replace the requirement that you submit a Request to your supervisor for approval and will not affect any of your existing leave balances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If your supervisor has approved your Request, please log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/leave\/\">Online Leave System<\/a> and submit the dates you have been working from home for any period up until April 30, 2020, using the &ldquo;COVID-19 &#8211; Work From Home&rdquo; leave type.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If working from home is necessary beyond April 30, 2020, the Leave System will be updated as appropriate when a determination has been made.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/ohr\/contact-us\/directory\/\">contact your <abbr title=\"human resources\">HR<\/abbr> representative<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please remember to take care of yourselves and your family during this time.
