Supervisors are encouraged to timely respond to all Requests.<\/p>\n<p>Employees may start to work remotely immediately upon approval of their Request. However, the employee and supervisor must formalize a more detailed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/ohr\/documents\/10268\">work plan (<small><abbr title=\"portable document format\">PDF<\/abbr><\/small>)<\/a> (template) within 5 working days.<\/p>\n<p>If a Request was already approved prior to this guidance, a new Request does not need to be submitted.
